Folios 335-336: Josiah Wittman, HMS Suffisante, Hamoaze. Counsel have recommended the matter of the Alarm be settled without recourse to Law. He agrees provided the case against him personally is also dropped. He asks that their Lordships arrange this with the Commissioners of Customs.
