Folios 331-332: Josiah Wittman, HMS Suffisante, Hamoaze. Gives a more detailed account of the attempt by Coutts of the Alarm to secure the prize for themselves. He also explains that he took the step of keepimg Coutts on board La Suffisante because of the lack of cooperation from the Civil powers, particularly the Mayor of Dartmouth. He encloses Midshipman Hunt's account.
Folios 333-334: enclosure with folios 331-332. Mr. Hunt, Midshipman of the Lord Mulgrave. Gives an account of the exchange between Coutts and Lambert of HMS Suffisante and threats by Coutts.
