Folios 271-272: John Watts, HMS Osprey, Woolwich. John Watts, HMS Osprey, Woolwich. Reports that the seamen who were discharged from HMS Woolwich into HMS Osprey have not been paid for four years and that they are very scantily provided with clothing, many not having a second shirt or trousers. Asks if the men can be granted an advance of three or four month's pay to buy themselves a few necessaries.
