Folios 191-192: Robert Watson, HMS Isis, Torbay. Reports his arrival this morning with fourteen sail of the East India Company, eleven from China and three from Bengal and Madras. Advises that he sailed from St Helena on 11 December 1796 with eighteen sail but four parted company in the gale on 26 January 1797. They consisted of two small ships from Bengal, a ship from the Cape of Good Hope loaded with wheat and a Danish ship, a Prize, under the command of Vice Admiral Sir George Keith Elphinstone. He is worried for them as the gale was very violent.
