Folios 138-139: John Williamson, HMS Grampus, Sheerness. Reports that through the medium of the Public Papers he has been informed of the arrival in England of Major Davis of the 93rd Regiment and the officers of the Army who have been subpoenaed by me in support of the charges against Brevet Major Hamilton of the 67th Regiment as also evidences in my defence. He requests they come to a speedy issue upon the matter. He is now on Half Pay and the Major triumphantly strolling about on Full Pay. He also requests that the people on the enclosed list [Inc.] not be allowed out of England.
