Folios 301-302: Francis Woolridge, HMS Fortune, Barn Pool. Acknowledges receipt of letter of 9 February 1795 when he arrived at Falmouth after endeavouring to carry out the enclosed Orders. Apologises for not having signed a letter he sent to the Admiralty which he puts down to his haste in putting to sea.
Folio 303: enclosure with folios 301-302. Letter dated 6 February 1795 by Sir John Borlaise Warren, Captain, HMS Pomone, Falmouth, to Francis Woolridge, HMS Fortune. Orders, as a result of information received from the Collector of HMS Customs at Padstow, to put to sea immediately and fall in with two English vessels, now in the possession of the French, off Padstow and to make them Prizes and bring them to into Falmouth.
