Folios 298-299: Francis Woolridge, HMS Fortune, Falmouth. Reporting his arrival that morning from the Scilly Islands where he detained three Dutch ships by order of Captain Sir John Borlaise Warren. HMS Fortune needs refitting as a result of a Dutch ship driving on board in a hard storm, as well as a Merchant ship driving on board at Falmouth in a heavy snow squall. Asks for whether he should refit with Topmasts and Sails at Falmouth or proceed to Plymouth as the ship has been in Commission and Sea Victualling since 12 November 1794 and the Ship's Company are in want of their pay.
Folio 300: enclosure with folios 298-299. Edward Hume, Carpenter, HMS Fortune, 4 February 1795. Report of the defects of HMS Fortune.
