Folios 226-227: Isaac Wolley, Regulating Officer, York. Advises that he has hired two men as Petty Officers and details their rates of pay as ordered in their letter of 30 March 1795. Acknowledges that he is to consider all parishes within 30 miles of York as included in his district. Lieutenant Pearse has been sent to meet the Justices at Kexby to attest any men and then take them to Hull. Advises he went to Leeds to attest any men put forward but found Captain Worsley from Doncaster had already been there. 147 men have been brought by Parish Officers from every part of the surrounding country as a result of him advertising the place of the Rendezvous.
