Folios 224-225: Isaac Wolley, Regulating Officer, York. Encloses a return of the men enrolled since 31 March 1795. 33 have been sent to Hull and the remaining 28 are billeted as Marines at York and will be sent down to York on Saturday. James [Harkow?] recently attested and enrolled to serve for the Parish of St Crux and St Andrews in York is now claimed to be a deserter from Lieutenant-Colonel [John] Fraser's Corps and has been detained in Hull by Captain Ramsay, Regulating Officer. Advises that he has requested the Parish of St Crux and St Andrews to provide another man in lieu. A futher 69 men have also been approved. (Return not enclosed).
