Folios 222-223: Isaac Wolley, Regulating Captain, York. Encloses a copy of the list of men enrolled in York and billeted as Marines. They have each been paid the Bounty and will be marched down to Hull as no vessel could be sent up the river to collect them. Notes that it would be preferable to send by water if permitted. Advises that he has published in the York papers that a Regulating office is open in Coney Street. Lieutenant Philip Pearce will accompany men to Hull but repeats his earlier request for Assistants to be appointed as Petty Officers to help and what he should pay them. Asks again for clarification on what is meant by York and surrounding country so he can establish a suitable rendezvous. (List not enclosed0.
