Folios 216-217: Thomas Wolley, HMS Active, Spithead. Explains that John Ryall serving on board HMS Active, had sailed for Newfoundland before his Warrant as Gunner for HMS Terror arrived at the Commissioner's Officer in Spithead. Supports the request of Ryall that being absent on service will allow the Admiralty to appoint him to another vessel.
