Folios 232-233: Letter from Lord Harcourt to Lord Weymouth that he has made enquiries regarding General Johnston's proposal for using Irish bred horses as remounts for the cavalry in Ireland and that from what he has seen of the cavalry since his arrival in Ireland he 'may presume to say that the King's service is in no danger of suffering by the experiment'. Dated at Dublin Castle. Enclosing: Folios 234-235: Letter dated at Dublin from General James Johnston to Lord Harcourt.
