Letter from Sir Stanier Porten to Stephen Cottrell Esquire asking that he seek a response from the Lord President of His Majesty's Council regarding exemptions to the general embargo for Danish vessels, coasting vessels carrying provisions from place to place in Ireland, and linen ships - he notes that the embargo in like cases has been taken off in Great Britain.
