Folios 66-67. Letter from Richard Heron to Sir Stanier Porten regarding a request by Lord Ely to procure a letter of recommendation of a Mr Cahill to Mr Elliot (the King's envoy at Berlin) to provide the former with protection and assistance in recovering some effects he is entitled to upon the death of his only brother Major John Cahil (in the Prussian Service) who died in December 1776, such effects being in the hands of James Kirklan of Berlin who is withholding them from him. Dated at Dublin Castle.
