Folios 286-287: Thoms Williams, HMS Daedalus on the Downes. Replying to Admiralty letter of 15 November relating to discharge of four men said to be impressed from the James Greenland. Two were impressed from the Samuel and Fanny from the Straights laden with cotton bound for Dublin and two from the Isabella and Charles laden with sugar, indigo and bound for Dublin. Reason for impressing them was they the vessels they were on were not deemed to be coasters or colliers and were out of the Kingdom.
