Folios 276-277: Thomas Williams, HMS Daedalus, Spithead. Encloses a list of the 28 vessels in the convoy under his command from the Downes. Under directions of Admiral Peyton put on board the Royal William some supernumeraries who had joined the Daedalus in the Downes. The ship has been provided with a Pilot and Master, in lieu of James Lawrie who fell overboard the previous evening. Efforts were made to save him but he drowned.
Folio 278-279: enclosure with folios 276-277. List of Transports and Merchant Vessels in the convoy under the command of Captain Thomas Williams. Lists: name of vessel, master's name, owner, type of vessel, burthen (tonnage), number of guns and men, lading, destination.
