Folios 274-275: Thomas Williams, HMS Daedalus, Sheerness. Request that the vessel is fitted with eight twenty four pound long carronades of the new pattern with elevating screws in lieu of the same number of six pounds currently on board. Requests permission to go to Woolwich Warren for this to be carried out as there are none at Sheerness.
