Folios 285-286: Francis Wooldridge, HMS Fortune, the Nore. Acknowledges Order of 11 April to proceed to the coast of Africa. Requests permission to call at Plymouth for a few hours to purchase linen, books, instruments and bedding. Also to take on a few stocks and the proper necessaries for the Surgeon, namely James Powder and Portable Soup, and take on more provisions and water. Sails tomorrow for the Downs.
