Folios 277-278: Francis Wooldridge, HMS Fortune, Sheerness. Covering letter enclosing a copy of the letter he has sent to Mr [John Lewis] De Lolme giving his opinion of the Girdle and Latch fixed to the stern of the ship.
Folios 279-280: enclosure with folios 277-278. Letter dated 12 March 1793 by Francis Wooldridge, HMS Fortune, Sheerness, to Mr [John Lewis] De Lolme. Gives a very detailed account of the problems the ship had with the Girdle and Latch fixed to her stern and asks if there are any improvements that can be made. Letter also signed by: [Duncan Forbes] Mitchell, Lieutenant; Thomas Innes, Lieutenant; Henry Phillips, Carpenter.
