Folios 269-270: Francis Wooldridge, HMS Fortune, Margate Roads. Advises that he has had to return to Margate Roads having suffered damage in a squall to the main boom and bumkin of the fore tack. Says the sloop was not permitted a Trysail which is very useful in larger Brigs and intends to apply for one to the Navy Board as he is unable to move with the ship in its present situation.
