Folios 202-203: John Williams, Falmouth. Reporting his arrival back in England and gives a brief description of his journey from Tangier via Gibraltar and Portugal. Reports seeing a convoy of about 40 sail ships pass Faro on 9 June 1793, and on 15 June 1793 Lord Hood with two Three Deckers, ten Two Deckers, six Frigates, three Cutters and a Snow. The Spanish had several cruisers, some of the line, and several frigates taken as Prizes off the Cape [St Vincent]. On 15 June 1793, a Royal Navy Frigate passed the Cape with a large Snow in tow.
