Folios 177-178: Thomas Williams, HMS Lizard, Spithead. Confirming his orders of 10 May 1793 have been executed and that on 14 June 1793 he chased a Brig off North Friesland which he suspected to be an enemy cruiser. Explains he caught up with her 7 or 8 leagues off Dunmore but because of the condition of HMS Lizard, which he details, and shortage of supplies for his crew, has decided to run into the nearest port of Spithead to procure supplies and ready ship for service.
Folio 179: enclosure with folios 177-178. Report dated 15 June 1793 by Thomas Williams, HMS Lizard, in Yarmouth Roads,. Report on the state and condition of the ship.
