Folios 170-171: Thomas Williams, HMS Lizard, Yarmouth Roads. Acknowledging receipt of four press warrants and the following orders: 13 February 1793 directing him not to bear an extraordinary of Mates and Midshipmen; Orders forbidding salutes in future to private vessels, excepting ships and castles of Foreign Princes and States in amity with the King; Orders to bear, as part of the complement, no more fictitious names under the appellation of Widow's Men, than one in every hundred of the ship's complement.
