Folios 258-259: Charles Paget, HM Yacht Royal George, Portsmouth Harbour. Acknowledging receipt of letter relative to being designated a Knight, and the assembly of a Court Martial, but not able to ascertain that distinction from Home Secretary of State. Informing Lords Commissioners at the Admiralty of the King bestowing the honor in Autumn of 1819 at the Pavillion in Brighton, the rank of Knight Commander to the Royal Guelphic Order, and assumed the Title on that basis. Noted 7 Jul with comments.
