Folios 245-246: Fleetwood Pellew, HMS Revolutionaire, Corfu. Further to previous letter, a ship under the Ionian flag arrived reporting it had been plundered of part of its cargo by a Greek ship, even though it was under British protection. Believed this ship, one of a Greek squadron of 12 ships, was threatening an attack on Turkish naval force and also inclined to act piratically against any flag it meets. May become necessary to deal with this threat by force against this squadron of mixed types, if they should eventually turn pirate. Noted 26 Jun with comments.
