Description

Folios 255-256: Francis Vesey, Garrison, Sheerness. on Paying off HMS Clorinde yesterday some of the ships company complained of their rating:- David Bell (96) Ordinary Seaman till 27 August 1814 then Able Seaman, Michael Thent? (310) rated Ordinary Seaman until 1 May 1813 then Quarter Gunner, John Molloy who appears on the books of HMS Clorinde as having jumped overboard in a port on the 25 June 1811 and was supposed drowned but on April 23 1812 was taken out of an Indiaman from Ghina. Reports he has not received an answer to his letter of the 9 November 1814 respecting Robert Glouston.
