Folios 243-244: Clotworthy Upton, HMS Junon, Cape Cod Bay, North America. States that there is a vacancy for Sergeant in the Party of Marines on HMS Junon. He directed Corporal Jesse Cornish to be promoted but following an incident on the 18 March 1814 the said Jesse Cornish has been reduced to the ranks.
