Folios 222-223: Francis Vesey, Garrison, Sheerness. Covering letter fro tow enclosed [Inc.] letter, one to the Navy Board and the other their reply. Request it be considered by their Lordships.
Folio 224: enclosure with folios 222-223. Letter dated 28 January 1814 by Francis Vesey, Garrison, Sheerness. States that Benjamin Weedon who has been rated as Landsman on HMS Thunder though he has acted as Carpenter's Crew all the time is was on the ships books.
Folio 225: enclosure with folios 222-223. Letter dated 2 February 1814 by [S T?] Hartwell, R Sepping and [J?] Legge. Navy Office. In answer to your letter of the 28 January 1814 respecting the rating of Benjamin Weedon on the Books of HMS Thunder. As we have not received any orders for bearing Petty Officers as Supernumeraries he cannot be paid other than as a Landsman.
