Folios 199-200: Clotworthy Upton, HMS Junon, Quebec. Reports that Major General Glasgow, Commander at Quebec has informed him that the ship Stranger, having been captured & carried into Salem had on board 66 - 24 Pounder Guns together with the whole of the Gunners stores intended for the two Frigates sent out this spring in Tiranse. If none other had occurred would have made it necessary to deprive HMS Antelope of her lower deck guns and he may be asked to release her main desk guns for use in Batteries. Also mentions laying up HMS Junon for the winter and the general demand for ordnance.
