Folios 188-189: Clotworthy Upton, HMS Junon, Quebec. Reports that HMS Antelope arrived with Convoy on the 28 November 1814. Reports that he has directed the captain [of HMS Antelope] to proceed from the Brandy Ports on the 10 October 1814 with the Trade and Transports as per orders. States that following the events on Lake Champlain has made a large supply of 24 pounder guns absolutely necessary at Isle au Noix, in consequence I have , at the desire of Major General Glasgow, Commandant at Quebec, directed Captain Samuel Butcher [HMS Antelope] to forward the whole of his lower deck guns, shot and materials to Montreal. The squadron in Lake Ontario is now fully manned, or nearly so. He has directed Captain Samuel Butcher [HMS Antelope] to discharge a Lieutenant, two Midshipman an Assistant Surgeon and 60 Seamen to the new ships Saint Lawrence, I have also directed Lieutenant [James?] Crosby to discharge 20 of his crew to the same ships.
