Folios 411-412: Azariah Uzuld, HMS Acteon, River Mersey. Explains that he discharged George Furness as they had instructed him to do so but also explains fully why he thinks this was a wrong decision.
Folio 413: enclosure with folios 411-412. Letter dated 26 November 1796 by John Wright, Liverpool. Explains that Charles McCarthy went on board the Acteon in place of Georgs Furness.
