Folios 217-218: George Vancouver, HMS Discovery, Monterey Bay. Appoints Thomas Manby as 3rd Lieutenant and Lieutenant at Arms in place of Spelman Swaine who has been appointed 2nd Lieutenant in place of Lieutenant Baker.
Folios 219-220: blank.
Folios 221-222: enclosure with folios 217-218. Letter dated 8 May [?[ by S. C. Cockerell. Requests that Robert Thomas Scott be removed as soon as possible to HMS Pomone where Sir John Warren has agreed to receive him.
Folio 223: enclosure with folios 217-218. List of the Master's mates and Midshipmen on HMS Discovery. Robert Barrie, John Stewart, John Sykes, Edwin Charleton Harris, Charles Stuart, John Aisley Browne, Edward Roberts, Thomas James Dobson, Benjamin Reeves and William Wooderson.
