Folios 208-209: George Vancouver, HMS Discovery in the Shannon. Encloses the response Menzies made to his request for the journals, charts etc.
Folios 210-211: enclosure with folios 208-209. Letter dated 12 September 1795 by Archibald Menzies, HMS Discovery at sea. He states that he only kept the Sick Book which Vancouver can have whenever he wants. [Somewhat contradictorily] he states he will only deliver up any journals, charts etc if ordered by the Sectretary of State of the Home Department.
