Folio 205: George Vancouver, HMS Discovery in the Shannon. Requests their Lordships order the court martial of Alexander Menzies, Surgeon and botanist who on 28 July 1795 behaved with contempt and disrespect to him on the quarter deck when Vancouver refused to punish Menzies servant.
Folios 206-207: enclosure with folio 205. Copy of letter dated 12 September 1795 from Vancouver to Menzies, given on board HMS Discovery at sea. Asks that the Journals he has kept during the voyage now be handed over as Ireland is in sight. He has been allowed more time to complete them but they must now be handed over.
