Description

Folios 351-352: George Byng, 6th Viscount Torrington, HMS Warrior, The Downs. Reports his arrival from Jamaica. [4 page report on his voyage]. Leaving Port Royal on the 23 July. Mentions HMS's Plantagenet, Carnation, Sapphire Rota and Pheasant. Mentions Lieutenant Colonel Nichols, Lieutenant Mitchell of the Royal Marines and Rear Admiral William Brown.

Folios 354-355: enclosure with folios 351-352. Rear Admiral William Brown, HMS Shark, Port Royal. Dated 19 July 1814.

Folio 356: enclosure with folios 351-352. Return of the Sick and Wounded of HMS Sapphire between 20 August 1nd 12 September 1814.

Folio 357: enclosure with folios 351-352. Defects report on HMS Warrior. George Byng, 6th Viscount Torrington, The Downs. Dated 23 September 1814 and signed by the Captain and Joseph Meots? Carpenter.
