Requesting an explanation for giving an order to Lieutenant John Edward Hare, Commanding HMS Fervent dated 10 September 1811. [Mentions the 10th Article, 12th Section of the General Printed Instructions.]
Folio 252: enclosure with folios 250-251. Letter dated 12 September 1811 by James Tillard, HMS Sabrina, at Sea. Letter to Admiral George Cranfield Berkeley. That HMS Fervent joined the Convoy from Oporto for the mutual protection of the whole. Upon arriving in Plymouth, he directed HMS Fervent's commander to return to Oporto.
