Description

Folios 215-216: Joseph Needham Tayler, HMS Sparrow, Spithead. In obedience to the enclosed orders and instructions of Admiral Rowley reports his arrival from Negril Bay Jamaica having left on the 26 July 1811 in company with HMS Elk and convoy. Reports that the Irish and Bristol Convoy which he was in command of per Captain Clement Milward orders parted company in perfect safety.

Folios 217-218: enclosure with folios 215-216. Report of vessels boarded by HMS Sparrow between 17 July 1811 and 29 September 1811.

Folios 219-220: enclosure with folios 215-216. Copy of orders from Admiral Bartholomew Samuel Rowley, HMS Polyphemus, Port Royal Jamaica. Dated 15 July 1811.

Folios 221-222: enclosure with folios 215-216. Copy of orders from Captain Clement Milward, HMS Elk, Negril Bay Jamaica. Dated 20 July 1811.

Folio 223: enclosure with folios 215-216. Defects report for HMS Sparrow dated 29 September 1881. Signed Joseph Needham Tayler and John Vine, Carpenter.
