Folios 197-198: George Tobin, HMS Princess Charlotte, Hamoaze. Reporting the arrival of Walter Foreman, Lieutenant, replacing Andrew Bowden Pidgely, Lieutenant and that he has forwarded to Sir Robert Calder, Commander in Chief at Plymouth, an application from James Gresson, Lieutenant, for leave of absence. Explains that James Gresson has served under him for over four years and during that time has never had leave longer than 48 hours and has only asked for longer this time due to the death of his father.
