Folios 300-301: Robert Brown Tom, HMS Gorgon, Sheerness Harbour. Reports the Gunner and Carpenter of his ship have been found unfit for active service and recommended for ships in ordinary. Requests that Thomas Slater, Gunner, HMS Belle Poule and Samuel Cornish, Carpenter, HMS Drochterland, who both want to be on active service be appointed from ordinary in their place.
