Folios 257-258: Charles Tinling, Southwold. Provides a copy of a letter from Captain Edge and explains the discrepancy in accounting is due to the body of Mr Beelenzee being washed ashore after he had sent notification to the Admiralty of the bodies picked up from the wreckage in the Bellettes? boat and dispatches being taken to London.
Folio 259: enclosure with folios 257-258. Letter dated 4 May 1809 by William Edge, Aldborough to Charles Tinling. Reports the discrepancy in accounts for 1807 due to the disbursement for picking up the bodies of the people wrecked in HMS Belletes boat and taking the dispatches to London not being included in the payment form the Admiralty, leading to a difference of £21-13-1.
