Folios 247-248: Patrick Tonyn, HMS Orpheus, Guernsey. Reports HMS Orpheus under his command, HMS Norfolk and HMS Agincourt are proceeding to the West Indies unless they receive Orders otherwise. He did not know where the Transport Ships under HMS Persian were, which he was supposed to take control of and convey to Barbados with as they had sailed for Portsmouth on the 11th. Due to a strong North Easterly wind they had not made contact.
