Folios 197-198: John Thompson, HMS Bonne Citoyenne, Plymouth Sound. Reports receipt on board his ship on 5 October 1808 of thirty eight kegs containing five thousand dollars each, fourteen cases containing three thousand dollars each and one case containing two thousand three hundred and forty three and one half dollar from HMS Cossack, which he delivered to Captain Pasely. Form HMS Minerva on 7 November 1808, he received twenty kegs of dollars, which was delivered to Captain Richard Turner Hancock, HMS Tonnant.
