Folios 268-269: William Henry Brown Tremlett, Dundee. States the case of the men in the enclosed documents who were impressed by him last year in Whitby as they had no Protection certificates. Says he cannot recall their ages or qualifications as many petitions were presented to the Board, but of those sent to him he would have responded immediately.
Folios 270-271: enclosure with folios 268-269. Henry Phipps, Lord Mulgrave, Mulgrave Castle, Whitby, Yorkshire, 4 October 1806 to the Admiralty. Encloses documentation for William Toes and Andrew Toes, fishermen, who have been impressed and requests that they are discharged which will restore a degree of confidence to the fishermen of their local towns. Notes that fishing has declined in Staithes and Runswick due to the number of fishermen impressed.
Folio 272-273: enclosure with folios 268-269. Statement of the Ministers and Church Wardens of Hinderwell and principal inhabitants of Runswick, Yorkshire, 14 June 1806 to the Admiralty. Petition for the release of William Toes, currently on HMS Kent and his brother Andrew Toes on HMS Thetis. Contains 34 names and signatures.
Folio 274: enclosure with folios 268-269. Certificate with 15 signatures of Ministers, Church Wardens and principal inhabitants, 28 October 1806. States that William Toes and Andrew Toes were impressed on 19 November 1805 by William Henry Brown Tremlett, Captain, and Thomas Linklater, Lieutenant from a fishing coble from Runswick, and on the same day, James King, fisherman, was also impressed from a coble out of Staithes by William Henry Brown Tremlett, Captain and Thomas Linklater, Lieutenant .
