Folios 137-138: John Temple, Curzon Street, London. Encloses a petition from William Wareing [Waring].
Folios 139-140: enclosure with folios 137-138. Undated petition of William Wareing [Waring] of Waterhead Mill, Lancaster. Requesting the discharge of his son John Waring of HMS Sheerness who he says joined the Navy in a rash moment. Explains his reasons for the request and says he will find any number of replacements required to obtain his discharge. [George] Fox, Lieutenant and Commander also mentioned.
