Description

Folios 119-120: Sandford Tatham, Edinburgh. Encloses a copy of the Special Verdict of the prosecution of the Gaoler of Greenock. The Points of Law are to be argued before the Barons of the Exchequer on Wednesday 17 December 1806 and requests permission to remain in Edinburgh as he is a material witness.

Folios 121-122: enclosure with folios 119-120. Copy of Special Verdict of the prosecution of the gaoler of Greenock who is alleged to have released Alexander Courtney who had been placed in custody by Sandford Tatham after being impressed on shore in Greenock.
