Folios 67-68: Sandford Tatham, Greenock. Covering letter for a return on the Fishermen and Boatmen of the County of Argyll completed by the Clerk to the General Meetings of the Lieutenancy.
Folios 69-70: enclosure with folios 67-68. Admiralty note,12 August 1806. Advising that the return sent by Sandford Tatham should be enclosed to James Vashon, Rear Admiral, and direct him to report on what the quota should be accepted from this body of fishermen. Also to advise him that the Admiral does not consider those serving the Militia or involved in the Volunteer Corps as being exempt for the impress and should be included as such on the return.
