Folios 199-200: Francis Temple agents Ommanney and Druce, Cecil Street, Strand. Stating that he sent a newspaper cutting stating that the Coroner Inquest at Rochester had returned a verdict of Wilful Murder against him for having caused the Death of Thomas Orchard a Seaman under his Command in HMS Theseus. States that he has obtained copies of depositions taken before the Coroner and Affidavits from those Officers and others under his Command on HMS Theseus which he encloses [Not Inc.]. States that the statements and Affidavits would appear to contradict the Coroners ruling and he hopes that a full review by the Admiralty will clear him of the charge.
