Folios 197-198: Francis Temple agents Ommanney and Druce, Cecil Street. Request that having appointed Captain Francis Temple then Commander of HMS Tartarus to Command HMS Hound from 18 June 1804. Having taken passage on HMS Pheasant and HMS Princess Charlotte and on his arrival in Jamaica been appointed by Vive Admiral Sir John Duckworth to Command HMS Cerf which he joined on 21 November 1804. Request he be paid as Commander of HMS Hound from 28 June 1804 when he was superceded in the Tartarus [Hound crossed out?], to the 21 November 1804 when he took Command of HMS Cerf.
