Folios 228-229: Charles Tyler, Pembroke. Reply to letter dated 20 June 1804 - Answers to questions. Q1 - From Kidwelly to Cardigan 422 men. Q2 The men inside not more than a mile from the coast at their different districts, except St Clears 5 miles from the Coast [Details of the 3 Districts in Margin]. Q3 There are no boats armed or unarmed within his district. At Tenby and Fisguard, the men are exercised at the Batteries, and paid? one day a week, the rest are paid? one day in the week. Q4 No boats armed or unarmed for the employment of the Sea Fencibles within the District.
