Thanks them for their letter of the 1st September and says that Mr Topliss can supply the machinery and spindle for the Cumbrian Capstan and deliver it to Deptford in 3 weeks, or at most a month. Mentions a few other arrangements regarding the fitting, particularly to the Active, at Portsmouth.
